Kerabu Mangga

Mango Kerabu (kerabu mangga), refreshing and healthy salad. A perfect combo for Asam Pedas Ikan Pari . Let’s pick the mango, shred, mix and enjoy the plate.
Ingredients :
2 Raw Mango (unripe)- shredded finely
1/2 lime juice (or juice frm 1 limau kasturi )
1 Medium size onion (sliced finely)
1/2 Bunga kantan (sliced finely)
3-4 Chili padi (bird’s eye chili)-chopped finely
2 tablespoon roasted and crushed peanuts
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 Teaspoon fish sauce (or soy sauce)
Note : Optional to use fried ikan bilis (anchovies) or udang kering (dried shrimp).
Let’s prepare the Kerabu :
Prepare the required inggredients. Choose unriped manggo for best cruncy texture.
Ingredients qty can be adjusted based on individual preference.
I used hand-shredder to make the fine slices of the mango.
Toss all the required ingredients together.
Season it with salt and sugar.
Note : Fried ikan bilis or udang kering can be added into this salad too. Fry and crush them a little then toss together.
